The directions page places Color Line Stadion about two kilometres from the Rutebilstasjon. The walk goes southwest toward Keiser Wilhelmsgate, another 6-700 metres along that street, then right into Buholmgata and the first left into Røysegata. At the Sunnmørsposten building it turns right into Sundgata and continues southwest onto Ystenesgata. After 700 metres the bridge on the right crosses the approach road to Sjømannsvegen. The page allows about half an hour on foot and about a quarter of an hour by bicycle.

Shuttle on Borgundvegen and bus 681

The directions page names a shuttle from the bus stop on Borgundvegen below NTNU in Ålesund and calls that shuttle free. The first departure is one hour before kickoff and the last is 20 minutes before. Parking at Color Line Stadion itself should not be counted on for a match day. The car route follows the E136 and the signs for Volsdalsberga, with the exit on the right along the approach road.
