The May 2026 planning report states that the stadium has two nearby stations, Pokesdown and Bournemouth, both on the South West Main Line. It says Pokesdown has no step-free access. Passengers have to use 42 steep steps on the footbridge to reach street level, and there is a single entrance formed by double doors. The same report links the site to the town centre by Pokesdown station and describes a twenty-minute walk to the town centre. That passage describes the station as it stands, not an entrance that has already been rebuilt.
