Football matches in Cologne

For the city string Cologne the catalog has one club, 1. FC Köln. The Bundesliga snapshot places the club at the RheinEnergieStadion and keeps the city string Cologne, while the club page writes Köln. For the men it names the RheinEnergieStadion. Travel inside the VRS is tied to the match ticket and still needs a separate digital pass from the KVB. About 3,000 bicycle spaces are on Junkersdorfer Straße, at car park S1 and on the eastern and northern circulation. About 7,500 car spaces and bus park P8 open four hours before kick-off and close three hours after the final whistle. Motorhomes have no access, and the page names no charging points. For navigation it gives P1 at Militärringstraße and Wendelinstraße, 50933 Köln, P2 at Aachener Straße 1003, 50933 Köln, P3 at Brauweiler Weg, 50933 Köln, and P6, P7, P8 plus the bus park on Salzburger Weg, 50858 Köln. There is no link between stands in the stadium concourse. Entering and leaving through the north and east is not possible. Match-day desk 28 is at the south-west corner and takes cards from two hours before kick-off. The digital ticket sits in the account of the shop ticket-onlineshop.com/ols/fckoeln. In 2026/27 every season ticket has to be used for at least 14 Bundesliga home matches. The same page describes, for the women, a shuttle to the Franz-Kremer-Stadion, which is a different ground.

Cologne at a glance

This page includes only catalog entries whose city string is exactly Cologne. The club page writes Köln, and that does not change the catalog string.

Selected match pages

These pages are separate from the D1 snapshot. Each page gives the date and ticket route only when a checked match source states them.

Plan a visit in the city

Settle 1. FC Köln and the date first, and check whether the match is the men's match at the RheinEnergieStadion or the women's shuttle to the Franz-Kremer-Stadion. For the men, load the ticket in the account at ticket-onlineshop.com/ols/fckoeln, and do not wait for an email. Use only the entrance of the stand printed on the card. The north and east are not a through route. To hand a card in on the day, go two hours ahead to desk 28, at the south-west corner. For the car, use the four approaches named on the page, and the car parks open four hours before kick-off. For bus and tram, get the digital KVB pass in addition to the match ticket. The Bundesliga snapshot names Cologne and the RheinEnergieStadion, and it does not name desk 28.

What to distinguish in this travel scope

P1, P2, P3 and Salzburger Weg

About 7,500 car spaces and bus park P8 open four hours before kick-off and close three hours after the final whistle. Motorhomes may not enter. For navigation the page names P1 at Militärringstraße and Wendelinstraße, 50933 Köln, P2 at Aachener Straße 1003, 50933 Köln, P3 at Brauweiler Weg, 50933 Köln, and P6, P7, P8 plus the bus park on Salzburger Weg, 50858 Köln.

Desk 28, south-west corner

In the concourse of the RheinEnergieStadion spectators cannot move between stands. Entry is only at the entrance of one's own stand. Entering and leaving through the north and east is not possible. Match-day desk 28 at the south-west corner accepts season and day tickets for onward sale from two hours before kick-off. After purchase the ticket sits in the account of the shop ticket-onlineshop.com/ols/fckoeln and does not arrive by email. In 2026/27 every season ticket has to be used for at least 14 Bundesliga home matches. Bus and tram travel inside the VRS also needs the digital KVB pass.

Franz-Kremer-Stadion, a different ground

The same arrival page, under the women, describes a shuttle it calls free to the Franz-Kremer-Stadion, from one and a half hours before kick-off until three quarters of an hour after the final whistle. At weekends and on holidays it starts at the car park Rewestraße 8, 50354 Hürth-Efferen. On weekdays it starts at car park S5, Junkersdorferstraße 1, 50933 Köln. That is not the men's route into the RheinEnergieStadion. The Bundesliga snapshot lists 1. FC Köln with the city string Cologne and the ground RheinEnergieStadion.
