Plan a visit in the city
First check that the ticket is a Twente home match at De Grolsch Veste. The address for that is Colosseum 65. On a match day the short route is Enschede Kennispark railway station, opposite the ground, or bus line 1 from the Enschede bus station. Bicycles follow the F35 and then either the stop Enschede Kennispark NS with the underpass, or the rack between the tracks and P2. Anyone driving without a parking card for P-vip or P1 to P7 uses, according to the route page, the University of Twente site and the shuttle, not the full lots directly at the ground. P4 does not open until two and a half hours before kickoff. The lift to the second ring is not a general entrance. For that, write to ticketing@fctwente.nl or call 0538525525, and only with a ticket for that ring when the stairs are not possible. Tickets are loaded by the club site through kaartverkoop.fctwente.nl.

Colosseum 65 and the shuttle
The contact page gives the visiting address as Colosseum 65, 7521 PP Enschede, and the postal address as Postbus 564, 7500 AN Enschede. The stadium is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. The route page counts 1,000 parking spaces. On match days P-vip and P1 to P7 need a parking card. P4 opens two and a half hours before kickoff. Shuttles the club calls free run from there from two hours before the match and for two hours after it. On days without a match, parking at De Grolsch Veste is described as free unless another event is using the spaces. Coming from Deventer, the page names the A1, the A35, exit 26a Enschede West, Universiteit, and a left turn into Elysium after the canal bridge.

Second ring and the ticket loader
During home matches at De Grolsch Veste a number of lifts are in use. They are for spectators who hold a ticket for the second ring and who, because of a health limitation, lasting or temporary, cannot manage the stairs. The request goes to Service and Ticketing, by phone on 0538525525 or by mail to ticketing@fctwente.nl. That is not a substitute for an admission ticket. The route page and the contact page both load the ticket area at kaartverkoop.fctwente.nl underneath. From Hengelo, follow the signs to Enschede onto Enschedesestraat, continue 2.5 km after leaving the town, turn right at the lights and immediately right again, pass under the railway, and the stadium is then on the left. From Germany on the B54, stay on the N35 until it becomes the A35, take exit 26 Enschede West, Universiteit, and again Elysium after the bridge.
