Football matches in Ipswich
Ipswich Town is the only club on this page, and the catalog city string stays exactly Ipswich. The Visit Us page names the address Portman Road, Ipswich, IP1 2DA, and puts the walk from Ipswich station at just under 10 minutes. Greater Anglia runs from London Liverpool Street two or three times an hour, and some of those trains call at Stratford. After evening matches the same page gives 22:23 and 22:43 as the usual trains back to London. It also says the Peterborough route has no return at all after evening games. Park-and-ride buses start at London Road by the Copdock junction of the A12 and A14, and at Martlesham on the A12 near Woodbridge. From Monday to Saturday, between 07:00 and 19:00, they run up to every 20 minutes and stop in West End Road and Princes Street, each a few minutes on foot from Portman Road. Evening service 66 runs back only to the Martlesham car park, at 20:16, 21:16, 22:01 and 23:01. The driving note sends the last part of the trip along the A1214 London Road, right into West End Road, then left into Sir Alf Ramsey Way.

These pages are separate from the D1 snapshot. Each page gives the date and ticket route only when a checked match source states them.
Plan a visit in the city
Settle Ipswich Town, the date, and the place named on Visit Us, which is Portman Road, Ipswich, IP1 2DA. Use that club page for the approach rather than a general town description. On the railway, allow the short walk from Ipswich station and check Greater Anglia, because the page only names 22:23 and 22:43 as the usual London returns after evening matches. Drivers should use the Sir Alf Ramsey Way approach. The road behind the Sir Bobby Robson Stand closes 90 minutes before the game, and the road immediately behind the Cobbold Stand is permanently blocked at both ends. Visit Us explains arrival and does not replace a match ticket.
What to distinguish in this travel scope
Ipswich Town under the catalog city Ipswich
The opened Wikipedia revision of the 2026/27 Premier League lists Ipswich Town in the stadium table with the city string Ipswich and the ground name Portman Road. This page keeps that string and does not add further places. The station, the bus service and the road closure are not taken from that table. They come from the club page Visit Us.

Service 66, Sir Alf Ramsey Way and the Cobbold Stand
The same page drops the park-and-ride buses in West End Road and Princes Street. Service 66 returns only to Martlesham in the evening, at 20:16, 21:16, 22:01 and 23:01. The road behind the Sir Bobby Robson Stand closes 90 minutes before the game, and the road behind the Cobbold Stand is permanently blocked at both ends. Away seats are in the Cobbold Stand, blocks VU1, VU2, VL and VA. Bags larger than A4 are refused, and there is nowhere to leave them.
