Football matches in Lausanne

Lausanne-Sport is the catalog club on this Lausanne page. The club's ticket page answers the stadium question with Stade de la Tuilière and the Blécherette stop on TL lines 1, 20, and 21. The same page says outright that neither a season ticket nor a match ticket includes a public-transport ride. It names Parking du Vélodrome and the covered Parking du Loup as the nearest public car parks, both also served by TL buses. Motorized two-wheelers are asked to park opposite the Service des Automobiles et de la Navigation or in the Vélodrome car park, bicycles in front of the stadium. The City of Lausanne prints a different line list and a street. There the stop is spelled Blècherette, and the buses named are TL 1 and 21, without line 20. The address is Stade de la Tuilière, Route de Romanel 10, post box 169, 1018 Lausanne, telephone +41 21 641 05 30. That page says FC Lausanne-Sport runs the ground. The ticket page itself does not print that street. It sends the purchase to its own page, with the embedded Weezevent checkout, and to cash payment at the match-day tills.

Plan a visit in the city

Choose Lausanne-Sport and the date first, then read the street and the bus line against each other. For the address, use the city's stadium page, Route de Romanel 10, 1018 Lausanne, stop spelled Blècherette, TL buses 1 and 21. For match day, use the club ticket page. It writes the stop Blécherette and lines 1, 20, and 21, and it says the match ticket is not a transport ticket. Parking du Loup and Parking du Vélodrome are the public car parks named there. Bicycle spaces are in front of the stadium. The purchase runs through lausanne-sport.ch/billets-de-match/, by card, Twint, or transfer in the embedded checkout, or by cash at the match-day till. The city page gives +41 21 641 05 30 for the stadium. A ride is not included on the club page, so the TL ticket is a separate step.

What to distinguish in this travel scope

Route de Romanel 10

The City of Lausanne's stadium page puts Stade de la Tuilière at Route de Romanel 10, post box 169, 1018 Lausanne, and gives the telephone number +41 21 641 05 30. It assigns operations to FC Lausanne-Sport and, for access, names TL buses 1 and 21 with the stop Blècherette, plus a nearby car park that it does not name. The Lausanne-Sport ticket page does not print that street. A house number comes from the city page, not from the ticket FAQ. The city page speaks of 12000 spectator places.

Blécherette, line 20 and line 21

The Lausanne-Sport ticket page says TL lines 1, 20, and 21 go directly to the Blécherette stop beside Stade de la Tuilière. The city page says TL buses 1 and 21 and the stop Blècherette, with a grave accent rather than an acute one, and it leaves out line 20. Both spellings are what the opened pages print, not a correction of one by the other. For the last bus leg it is worth reading both pages before dropping a line. The ticket page adds that bicycles stand in front of the stadium and that motorized two-wheelers use the space opposite the Service des Automobiles et de la Navigation or the Vélodrome car park.

Match ticket without a transport ride

The Lausanne-Sport ticket page answers the question of a discount on the ride with a direct no. Neither a season ticket nor a match ticket gives access to public transport. That sets the page apart from clubs that print a zone into the ticket. The purchase itself stays on the same page. It names card, Twint, and bank transfer in the Weezevent online checkout, and cash at the match-day tills. Inside the stadium the page does not take cash, only card or Twint. Parking du Vélodrome and the covered Parking du Loup remain the nearest public car parks it names, and those are also served by TL buses.
