Football matches in Łódź

For the city string Łódź, the opened Ekstraklasa table lists only Widzew Łódź and the ground Widzew Łódź Stadium. The club stadium page calls the same place Stadion Miejski Widzewa Łódź, with the nickname Serce Łodzi, at al. Piłsudskiego 138, 92-230 Łódź. From the centre it recommends getting off at Piłsudskiego-Niciarniana, and from the east at Piłsudskiego-Widzew Stadion. Trams are 8, 9, 10A and 10B. Buses are 64A, 64B, 75A, 75B, 80A and 80B. Łódź Niciarniana station of Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna is, on that page, about 5 to 10 minutes on foot. The car park under the ground is closed because a new training pitch is being built. The substitute is the clinical teaching centre of the medical university, entered from ul. Czechosłowacka and ul. Niciarniana, only in marked zones, unguarded, and for up to five hours with no charge. The ticket page requires an account on bilety.widzew.com. Season-ticket release codes run until three days before the match, the open phase starts two days before and on the day before, each time at 12:00, and further releases run until 30 minutes before kickoff.

Plan a visit in the city

Settle Widzew Łódź and the date first, then Stadion Miejski Widzewa Łódź at al. Piłsudskiego 138. The stadium page is the arrival plan, with the stops Piłsudskiego-Niciarniana and Piłsudskiego-Widzew Stadion, the tram and bus lines named there, and Łódź Niciarniana station. It sends changes to mpk.lodz.pl. Do not leave a car under the ground. The substitute car park at the teaching hospital applies only in the marked zones and only for up to five hours. Tickets run through an account on bilety.widzew.com. A release code works until three days before the match, and the open phase is at 12:00 two days before and on the day before. Entry needs a ticket, printed or in a wallet, and an identity document. The match-day box office uses the same released pool as the online purchase.

Teaching hospital instead of the car park under the ground

The same stadium page closes the car park under the ground because a new training pitch is being built there. The substitute is at the clinical teaching centre of the medical university. Entry is from ul. Czechosłowacka and from ul. Niciarniana. Only the marked zones count, the car park is unguarded, and the no-charge period lasts up to five hours. The page warns against extending that rule to other areas. Streets beside the ground carry the names of Włodzimierz Smolarek and Franciszek Smuda.

Release code until three days before the match

The ticket page starts sales for a home match at Serce Łodzi about a week ahead and requires an account on bilety.widzew.com. A season-ticket holder who is not coming creates a code for that seat. The code works from the start of sales until three days before the match and is entered in the field Kod zwalniający. The open phase begins in two waves, two days before and on the day before, each at 12:00. Further released seats enter the system until 30 minutes before kickoff. On match day the box office sells from the same pool. Entry needs a ticket and an identity document. The phone number on the page is 728 402 228.
