Football matches in Lviv

Bukovyna Chernivtsi, Karpaty Lviv and Shakhtar Donetsk carry the catalog city string Lviv. The opened pages document two different grounds for two of them, and no street for the third club. Karpaty Lviv's infrastructure page places Stadion Ukraina in Snopkivskyi Park, near the city centre. The match page for 5 September 2026 places Karpaty Lviv against Shakhtar Donetsk at 18:00 in that stadium in Lviv. The same preview puts the youth teams on Sunday 6 September at 12:00 at the training centre in Bartativ, which is not the park. Shakhtar Donetsk's notice of 27 July 2026 ties home matches of the 2026/27 UPL season to Arena Lviv and to sales on the club's own website. The same club's buying guide allows tickets only online through shakhtar.com, not at box offices, and it says the ticket shows section, row, seat and gate number. These pages do not name a street or a gate for Bukovyna Chernivtsi.

Plan a visit in the city

First settle which club is the host. A Shakhtar Donetsk match in Lviv is Stadion Ukraina on Karpaty Lviv's page for 5 September 2026, because Karpaty Lviv is at home there. Shakhtar Donetsk's season notice of 27 July 2026 instead names Arena Lviv for the club's own UPL home matches. Do not swap those two names. For the park, read Karpaty Lviv's infrastructure page. For the ticket route, read the buying guide on shakhtar.com when it is a Shakhtar home match. The training centre in Bartativ, 15 km outside the city, is the place where the infrastructure page says the first construction stage opened in 2023, and the youth venue in the match preview. It is not Stadion Ukraina. The opened pages give Bukovyna Chernivtsi no arrival note.

What to distinguish in this travel scope

Stadion Ukraina in Snopkivskyi Park

Karpaty Lviv's infrastructure page places Stadion Ukraina in Snopkivskyi Park, near the centre of Lviv. It gives the opening as 1963, before a friendly against Žalgiris Vilnius, the name Druzhba until 1990, and the renaming in 1991. After the 1999 refit it states 28051 seats. The same page places the club training centre in the village of Bartativ, 15 km from Lviv, with the first stage in use at the end of June 2023. A league visit follows the park, not Bartativ.

5 September 2026, Ukraina rather than Arena Lviv

Karpaty Lviv's match page for 5 September 2026 names 18:00 and Stadion Ukraina in Lviv for Karpaty Lviv against Shakhtar Donetsk. Shakhtar Donetsk is the visitor on that page. Shakhtar Donetsk's season notice of 27 July 2026 says something else about the club's own home matches. It announces season tickets for all 2026/27 UPL home matches at Arena Lviv and points the purchase to the official website. The same Karpaty preview places the youth match on Sunday 6 September at 12:00 in Bartativ at the NTB Karpaty.

Shakhtar tickets only through shakhtar.com

Shakhtar Donetsk's buying guide says tickets are sold only online on shakhtar.com. Buying through the app, at box offices or on outside platforms is not possible. Partner pages are reached only through the official website. First and last names must be entered in Latin letters. Accounts created before 26 July 2025 need updated passport details. Each ticket is personalised, with at most four from one account. An electronic ticket on a phone is enough for entry. After purchase, the name, section, row and seat cannot be changed. The ticket shows section, row, seat and the gate number. A municipal car park is near the stadium, and spaces there are limited. Animals, large backpacks, drinks, umbrellas and professional filming equipment are prohibited.
