Football matches in Reggio Emilia

Sassuolo is the club on the catalog string Reggio Emilia. The stadium page says Sassuolo has played home matches since 2013/14 at Mapei Stadium (Città del Tricolore), built in 1994 in the north of Reggio Emilia. The sector table lists Tribuna Autorità at 515 seats, 32 boxes at 192, the press stand at 108, Tribuna Ovest at 5,137, Tribuna Est at 6,573, Tribuna Sud at 5,000 and Tribuna Nord for guests at 4,000. Home supporters, accredited people and disabled spectators take Tangenziale Nord, exit 4, toward Via Morandi and Via Gramsci. For away fans the page recommends the A1, exit Reggio Emilia. From the central station at Piazzale Marconi the walk is through Piazzale Europa, or urban line 5. From the Mediopadana high-speed station the walk follows Via Gramsci. On holidays line 5 runs. On weekdays line 5 and minibus M run. Away car park P3, I Petali, is next to the ground and reserved for Tribuna Est. P4 on Via Felice Romano has 500 spaces and is reserved for Tribuna Nord. The Sassuolo Card is collected either at the Mapei Football Center, Via Giorgio Squinzi 1 in the town of Sassuolo, weekdays from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 18:30, or at Mapei Stadium, Piazzale Atleti Azzurri d'Italia in Reggio Emilia, from two hours before a home match until kickoff. The town of Sassuolo is not added to the catalog string because of that office. For 2026/27, Tribuna Sud is reserved for cards ordered by 30 June 2026.

Plan a visit in the city

Read Sassuolo as the club and check that the ticket means Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia. The stadium page puts the home matches there, not on Via Giorgio Squinzi. Anyone collecting the card must not swap those two addresses. The football centre in the town of Sassuolo, weekdays from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 18:30, releases the card only to the holder, with identification and a Vivaticket receipt. At the ground, Piazzale Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, the same rule applies from two hours before a home match until kickoff. For the journey to the ground itself, line 5 or the walk through Piazzale Europa leaves from Piazzale Marconi, and Via Gramsci leaves from Mediopadana. Guests with Tribuna Est use car park I Petali. Guests with Tribuna Nord use Via Felice Romano. The A1 exit Reggio Emilia is the away note on the page, and Tangenziale Nord exit 4 is the home note. Tribuna Sud in 2026/27 requires a Sassuolo Card ordered by 30 June 2026.

What to distinguish in this travel scope

Line 5 from Piazzale Marconi

The stadium page starts the central station at Piazzale Marconi. From there the walk goes through Piazzale Europa, or the ride is urban line 5. Mediopadana high-speed station is reached on foot along Via Gramsci. On holidays the named service is line 5. On weekdays it is line 5 together with minibus M. Home drivers take Tangenziale Nord, exit 4, toward Via Morandi and Via Gramsci. Away fans are told to leave the A1 at exit Reggio Emilia. The page therefore separates the station walk from the motorway, and the home exit from the away exit. The ground itself, on this page, is in the north of Reggio Emilia and is called Mapei Stadium (Città del Tricolore).

Tribuna Nord, I Petali and Via Felice Romano

The sector table sets Tribuna Nord at 4,000 away seats and Tribuna Sud at 5,000. Tribuna Est has 6,573, Tribuna Ovest 5,137, Tribuna Autorità 515, 32 boxes have 192 seats, and the press stand has 108. Among the away car parks, P3, I Petali, is next to the ground and only for guests in Tribuna Est. P4 on Via Felice Romano has 500 spaces and is reserved for guests in Tribuna Nord. P1 at Ente Fiera is about 2.4 kilometres away, and P2 at Ex Braglia about 1.3 kilometres. Someone with a Tribuna Nord ticket who stops at I Petali is at the park the page assigns to Tribuna Est. The home car parks, including Piazzale Europa with 810 spaces, are a different list on the page.

Via Giorgio Squinzi 1 is not the ground

The card page puts collection of the Sassuolo Card in two places. The Mapei Football Center is at Via Giorgio Squinzi 1 in the town of Sassuolo, weekdays from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 18:30. Mapei Stadium is at Piazzale Atleti Azzurri d'Italia in Reggio Emilia, before a home match from two hours before kickoff until the start. The card is released only to the holder, with valid identification and a Vivaticket receipt. Without the card, this page says, there is no season ticket. A name change, where the subscription type allows it, runs only between Sassuolo Card holders. For Tribuna Sud in the 2026/27 season the cards must have been ordered by 30 June 2026. Via Giorgio Squinzi therefore sits outside the catalog string Reggio Emilia, even though the club is called Sassuolo.
