Football matches in Riga

RFS, the club named Riga and Super Nova share the catalog city Riga, and the opened pages name three different grounds. RFS's ticket page dated 17 March 2025, still online when checked, puts home matches at LNK Sporta Parks. Tickets are online only, not sold at the stadium, and a phone is enough. Entrance starts one hour before kickoff. Buses 12 and 23 from the city centre stop at Jāņa Čakstes gatve, about a seven-minute walk. Tram 10 ends at Bišumuiža, about a fifteen-minute walk. The same page says the reserve stadium, 420 seats, is used at the start of the season when the weather does not allow the main pitch's natural grass. The stadium page of the club Riga, which calls itself Riga Football Club there, places home games at Skonto Stadium, opened in 2000, shared with the Latvian national team, and it names no street. Super Nova's post of 9 June 2026 invites readers to the Virsliga on 21 June at 14:00 at Jāņa Skredeļa stadions.

Riga at a glance

Only catalog entries whose city string is Riga are recorded. A different place string is not attached. The stadium list follows the place strings Riga, Rīga and Torņakalns.

Plan a visit in the city

First match the club name to the ground on that club's page. For RFS, use the ticket page. It names LNK Sporta Parks, buses 12 and 23 at Jāņa Čakstes gatve, tram 10 to Bišumuiža and entrance one hour before kickoff. If the match is at the start of the season, check that same text for the reserve stadium instead of assuming the main pitch. For the club Riga, only the stadium page for Skonto Stadium was opened. It confirms home games there, but no stop. For Super Nova, read the post of 9 June 2026. It names Jāņa Skredeļa stadions and 14:00 on 21 June, not Skonto and not LNK Sporta Parks.

What to distinguish in this travel scope

RFS, bus 12 and tram 10

RFS's ticket page names LNK Sporta Parks for home matches and says tickets are not sold at the stadium. Entrance is one hour before kickoff, and the ticket may be shown on a phone. Bus routes 12 and 23 run from the city centre. The most convenient stop is Jāņa Čakstes gatve, about a seven-minute walk. Tram 10 ends at Bišumuiža, about a fifteen-minute walk. The page gives the main stadium 1700 seats, the Central Stand 1000 and the Riverside Stand up to 700. The reserve stadium, 420 seats, is used at the start of the season when the natural grass cannot be played on.

Skonto Stadium without a stop

The English stadium page of the club Riga says Skonto Stadium opened in 2000 and is in Riga. Home games of Riga Football Club and of the Latvian national team are played there. The grounds also include a full-sized football hall. This page states no street, no bus stop and no tram line. Arriving from LNK Sporta Parks or from Jāņa Skredeļa stadions is not the same as arriving at Skonto Stadium.

Super Nova, Jāņa Skredeļa stadions

Super Nova's news page carries, under 9 June 2026, a text that invites readers to the Virsliga on 21 June at 14:00 at Jāņa Skredeļa stadions and speaks of a return to the club's real home. The post date is before 21 June, and the list above it runs backward by day, so the appointment belongs to June 2026. That paragraph names neither Skonto Stadium nor LNK Sporta Parks. It also gives no stop.
