The men's team moved in spring 2013 from Råsunda to the arena, which in summer 2024 was renamed from Friends Arena to Strawberry Arena. Plan a visit in the city

First settle which AIK team and which date is meant. The arena page places the men's home matches at Strawberry Arena and the women's home matches at Skytteholms IP. Both are in Solna, but the walk from Solna centrum is not the same. To the arena, buses 502 and 505 run to the stop Arenan beside Nationalarenan. For Skytteholms IP the page uses blue metro line 11 toward Akalla to Solna centrum, exit at the front, then left past the petrol station and the Max restaurant, about 200 metres. Away supporters at the arena should, according to the away page, use the northern railway bridge at Solna station and follow the track along the outside of Mall of Scandinavia, about 10 to 15 minutes to the away section. The ordinary away entrance is Gate 1, one flight down from the collar, and it opens one hour and 15 minutes before kick-off. The page excepts derbies and some other large matches from that gate. The box office at entrance A, opposite the entrance to Mall of Scandinavia, is for now open only on match day, from two hours before the men's kick-off. Tickets run through the club page AIKbiljett.

Stop Arenan and Entrée Hx

The arena page writes that Strawberry Arena sits in the middle of Arenastaden in Solna. Building started in May 2009, the arena was finished in autumn 2012, and in spring 2013 AIK Fotboll moved there after 75 years at Råsunda. In summer 2024 Friends Arena became Strawberry Arena. For the journey the short answer names commuter trains to Solna station, the metro to Solna centrum and bus lines 502 and 505 to the stop Arenan, which lies beside Nationalarenan in Solna. Special transport is Entrée Hx at Quality Hotel Strawberry. Parking is directed to Arenagaraget and to Westfield Mall of Scandinavia, a minute from the arena, with the added note that spaces can be limited at large matches. North Bar on the north end opens when the entrances open and closes when the second half starts. At home matches it is open to the crowd on Norra Stå. Lost property goes to the switchboard 08-600 91 00, telephone hours Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 10:00, otherwise to info@stockholmlive.com. The wifi network is called StrawberryArena.

Gate 1, section 105

The away page welcomes visiting spectators to Strawberry Arena in Solna and calls the arena the national arena of Swedish football. The agreed away section is stand 1, section 105, reached through Gate 1, one flight down from the collar. That does not apply to derbies and some other large matches. The entrance on the ticket has to be checked. Gate 1 opens one hour and 15 minutes before kick-off. The away capacity is 600 and can grow to as many as 3,000 if needed. The arena itself holds 30,000 to 48,000, depending on whether two or three stands are open. On this page Strawberry Arena is entirely cashless. Advance purchase for the away section is only through the away club's site. The box office is by the AIK Shop at entrance A. Organised buses exit at Järva krog, continue via Enköpingsvägen and turn right toward Arenastaden, and they drop passengers under the collar at Gate 1. By commuter train to Solna station, away supporters use the northern railway bridge and follow the track along the outside of Mall of Scandinavia, about 10 to 15 minutes to the away section.

Skytteholms IP, Huvudstagatan 2

The same arena page places Skytteholms IP at Huvudstagatan 2 in Solna and calls it the women's home ground for all home matches in OBOS Damallsvenskan and Svenska Cupen. The men's team plays some training and cup matches there and trains there in pre-season and in the last weeks of the season. The metro is Solna centrum. From T-centralen, blue line 11 runs toward Akalla, with the exit at the front, then left past the petrol station and the Max restaurant. The ground is about 200 metres from the metro. Solna station on the commuter train is about 900 metres to the east. The page sends people either along Frösundaleden or one stop on the Tvärbana to Solna centrum. Those 200 metres and those 900 metres are in the section about Skytteholms IP, not in the short route to Strawberry Arena. The ticket page lists Saturday 26 September, kick-off 15:00, AIK against Växjö DFF at Skytteholms IP. The linked match path carries the marker 260926.

Entrance A and Norra Stå

The ticket page sells home matches of both teams through AIKbiljett. The box office at Strawberry Arena is for now open only on match day, from two hours before the men's kick-off, at entrance A opposite the entrance to Mall of Scandinavia. At the entrances of Skytteholms IP, tickets can be bought for the women's home matches. One ticket admits one person, including on the family stand. Children under 5, that is through the year they turn 4, may sit on a parent's lap, at most one child per parent. The page excepts derbies from that rule, and it also names matches that the page itself marks as full. As unnumbered sections on Nationalarenan it names Norra Stå, Norra Ungdom, the family stand and the association stand. It describes the east stand from section 115 to 113 as active seating, and 111 and 110 can be similar. A definite seat, where people do not stand in front, is placed on part of section 133. For Saturday 10 October, kick-off 15:00, AIK against BP is at Strawberry Arena, the ticket link names IF Brommapojkarna, and the match path carries 261010. For Saturday 17 October, kick-off 17:30, AIK against IFK Göteborg is also at Strawberry Arena, and the match path carries 261017. Above the list the page prints a reservation for changes.
