Football matches in Strasbourg

For the city string Strasbourg the catalog has one club, Strasbourg, and the club pages place Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace at Stade de la Meinau. The fixed Ligue 1 snapshot names that same pair of city and ground. On a match day the stand decides the entrance, and the ticket page does not send everyone to doors D and E. Tribune Nord and the Quart virage Nord-Ouest use Entrée A, from Avenue de Colmar and the stop Krimmeri Stade de la Meinau. Tribune Ouest, the Quart virage Sud-Ouest and block 101 in the lower Tribune Sud use Entrée B at Lycée Couffignal, also on Avenue de Colmar. Blocks 502 to 509 on the top level of Tribune Sud use Entrée C and Entrée F. Tribune Est, the Quart virage Sud-Est and block 104 use Entrée G on Rue des Vanneaux, stop Gravière Stade de la Meinau. Entrée H at the north-east is reserved for visiting supporters and is also reached from Rue des Vanneaux. On a match day doors D and E are reserved for hospitality and VIP guests, except the Winstub Club. With no match on, the stadium page allows only the atrium at doors D and E, 1 parc de l'Extenwoerthfeld, 67100 Strasbourg.

Plan a visit in the city

Settle the block first, then the date, then only the entrance the ticket page gives for that block. The assignment is on the club ticket site, and the same page links to ticket download. Then take the tram to the station named for that entrance. Lines A and E serve Krimmeri Stade de la Meinau and Lycée Couffignal. Line C serves Gravière Stade de la Meinau. A visit with no match uses the atrium at 1 parc de l'Extenwoerthfeld, not the match-day gates. The Ligue 1 snapshot names the ground and does not replace the gate assignment.

What to distinguish in this travel scope

Entrée A, B and G by stand

The ticket page splits Stade de la Meinau by stand. Entrée A on Avenue de Colmar serves Tribune Nord and the Quart virage Nord-Ouest, stop Krimmeri Stade de la Meinau. Entrée B on the same avenue serves Tribune Ouest, the Quart virage Sud-Ouest and block 101, stop Lycée Couffignal. Entrée G on Rue des Vanneaux serves Tribune Est, the Quart virage Sud-Est and block 104, stop Gravière Stade de la Meinau. Entrée H, also on Rue des Vanneaux, is only for visiting supporters.

Doors D and E, two readings

With no match on, the stadium page allows entry only through the atrium, doors D and E, at 1 parc de l'Extenwoerthfeld, 67100 Strasbourg. On a match day the ticket page reverses those two doors. They are then reserved for hospitality and VIP guests, with the stated exception of the Winstub Club. Upper south blocks 502 to 509 use Entrée C and Entrée F that day, not the atrium.

Trams A, E, C and Krimmeri Meinau station

The stadium page names three tram stops. Krimmeri Stade de la Meinau and Lycée Couffignal are on lines A and E. Gravière Stade de la Meinau is on line C. The same page names Krimmeri Meinau station and special TER Fluo trains between Gare Centrale and Krimmeri Meinau, with a ride of four minutes. It names connections before and after the match from Haguenau, Bischwiller, Saverne, Brumath, Molsheim, Erstein, Benfeld, Sélestat, Colmar and Mulhouse. The Ligue 1 snapshot lists Strasbourg only at Stade de la Meinau and does not describe these stops.
