Football matches in Volos
Volos is the club name on this catalog row, and the club's αγωνιστική έδρα page places the Πανθεσσαλικό Στάδιο on the northern outskirts, about 1.5 km from the centre of the Δήμος Νέας Ιωνίας. The page names 320 km from Athens and 250 km from Thessaloniki and says you can also arrive by rail, without naming a station. Just before Volos, from the national road out of Βελεστίνο and not out of Νέα Αγχίαλος, a grade-separated junction turns onto the new περιφερειακή. After about one kilometre the stadium is on the right, beside the road. The owner is the Δήμος Βόλου. The west side has a roof of a metal frame with a PVC membrane, training space sits under the stands, and an auxiliary ground stands on the east. The note of 1 March 2026 for Volos against AEK at 17:30 spreads the stands across three πεζογέφυρες and requires the GOV Wallet before arrival. The note of 15 September 2026 for Volos ELABET against AEK on 20 September 2026 at 18:00 draws the bridges differently, because away tickets sat in the east stand, gates 43 to 56, and in the north end, gates 31 to 42. Home tickets for the west stand ran through the offices at the Πανθεσσαλικό and through MORE.COM, and entry required the gov.gr wallet.

Plan a visit in the city
Settle Volos and the date first, because the two opened match notes do not draw the same bridge. For the drive, use the club's ground page. It leads from the national road out of Βελεστίνο, not out of Νέα Αγχίαλος, through the grade-separated junction onto the περιφερειακή, and the Πανθεσσαλικό is on the right after about one kilometre. That page does not name a rail station, although it mentions rail as a way to Volos. For 1 March 2026 the GOV Wallet applied, with one bridge per stand. For 20 September 2026 at 18:00, Volos ELABET sold the west stand at the offices in the Πανθεσσαλικό, on weekdays through Friday 18 September from 09:00 to 17:00, on Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and on match day from 10:00 to 13:00, by card only, and in parallel through MORE.COM until kick-off. The window at the 2nd πεζογέφυρα stayed closed on that match day. The gov.gr wallet had to carry the ticket. The plastic card alone was not enough according to that note.
What to distinguish in this travel scope
περιφερειακή from Βελεστίνο
The Volos ground page places the Πανθεσσαλικό Στάδιο on the northern outskirts, about 1.5 km from the centre of the Δήμος Νέας Ιωνίας, and names 320 km from Athens and 250 km from Thessaloniki. It names rail as a way to Volos, without a station. By car the new περιφερειακή applies. Just before entering Volos from the national road out of Βελεστίνο, expressly not out of Νέα Αγχίαλος, you turn at the grade-separated junction onto the ring. After about one kilometre the stadium is on the right beside the road. The Δήμος Βόλου is the owner. The west stand has a roof of a metal frame and a PVC membrane. Training space sits under the stands, and an auxiliary ground stands on the east. The page prints 22.700 seated places.

Three πεζογέφυρες on 1 March 2026
The note of 1 March 2026 covers Volos against AEK at the Πανθεσσαλικό, written on the page as 5.30 μ.μ. Before arrival the ticket had to be verified in the GOV Wallet, or there was no entry to the stands. The VIP gate used the central gate and the VIP entrance. The west stand, gates 13 to 30, came from the 2nd πεζογέφυρα. The north end, gates 31 to 42, came from the 3rd πεζογέφυρα. The south end, gates 1 to 12, came from the 1st πεζογέφυρα. The east stand, gates 43 to 56, came from the 1st and the 3rd πεζογέφυρα. That split is only in this note. The later AEK note draws east and north as the away area.

Offices and MORE.COM on 20 September 2026
The note of 15 September 2026 covers Volos ELABET against AEK on Sunday 20 September 2026 at 18:00, matchday 5 of the Stoiximan Super League. Home tickets for the covered west stand were at the ΠΑΕ offices in the Πανθεσσαλικό, through Friday 18 September from 09:00 to 17:00, on Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and on match day from 10:00 to 13:00, by credit or debit card only. MORE.COM ran in parallel until kick-off. Name, ΑΜΚΑ, identity-card number, phone and email were required. The window at the 2nd πεζογέφυρα did not operate on that match day. Anyone over 67 who wanted a paper ticket had to use the offices. VIP used the central gate and the VIP entrance, and the west stand used the 2nd πεζογέφυρα. AEK tickets for gates 43 to 56 used the 1st πεζογέφυρα, and gates 31 to 42 used the 3rd. Entry required the gov.gr wallet. The plastic season card alone was not enough. Children up to 12 needed a student ticket from the offices. The note says entry without a ticket is not permitted under the law it cites.
