Fixture dates and changes

A calendar day and a confirmed kick-off are not the same thing. Before travelling, rely on the responsible body's current notice.

A date shown in a fixture list can change. The key distinction is between a confirmed kick-off and a provisional calendar day without a time.

Step by step

“Date listed by the source” means the recorded source named a date and kick-off. It is not a travel guarantee.
“Provisional” means the calendar day is recorded only as a provisional detail. MatchVisit does not add a time or treat it as a final travel plan.
Before travelling and before any non-refundable booking, recheck the club, competition and ticket seller. If they differ, follow the current notice from the responsible party.
In the Champions League, UEFA can confirm or alter dates and kick-off times under its rules. For domestic competitions, also check the relevant organiser and club.
