Alte Försterei stadium tour, visit planning

Check the official tour route for Alte Försterei and plan your visit with sourced guidance on the experience, arrival and stadium operations.

What to expect

1. FC Union Berlin currently sells stadium tours at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei. The public default card lasts 90 minutes and is limited to 30 people. It is a stadium visit, not a match ticket. The catalog stadium name remains Alte Försterei.

Sourced elements

  • The public tour names the players' tunnel, pitch, stadium-builder memorial, away changing room, press conference room and VIP areas. VIP areas can be restricted because of events.
  • Groups, school classes and the kids tour are separate products. An optional mascot appearance is not part of the public default card.

Booking and arrival

  • The public information page is altefoersterei.berlin/en/stadion/stadium-tour-xcFo. Visitor information on the club site also points to the tour. Online dates use the named ticket shop. Tickets are also sold at the stationary Zeughäuser. Groups use an enquiry form.
  • No stadium tours run on the day before a home match or on home matchdays of 1. FC Union Berlin. Club news of 9 July 2026 also names the ticket shop for stadium tours. MatchVisit does not check remaining places there. A language for the public card is not stated on the information hub. The group form offers German or English.

Stadium operations and matchdays

  • The address on club pages is 1. FC Union Berlin / Stadion An der Alten Försterei, An der Wuhlheide 263, 12555 Berlin. For a visit without a match the club names S-Bahn S3 to S-Bahnhof Köpenick, then about 15 minutes on foot via Hämmerlingstraße. From BER, S-Bahn S45 or S9 to Schöneweide, then tram 60 or 67 to stop Alte Försterei.
  • The club recommends public transport because there are few parking spaces around the stadium. The information hub does not name a meeting point for the public tour. Matchday parking rules do not automatically apply to the tour.

Accessibility and individual planning

  • If wheelchair users take part, the operator asks for an email in advance to touren@altefoersterei.berlin. That is not a guarantee for every stop on every slot. Matchday wheelchair seats run through fan services and are not the tour product.
