Plan a visit to Anfield

Liverpool's matchday getting-there page does not print a full street address. Public transport is described as the easiest way to reach the game.

Named matchday services include the 917 from Commutation Row near Lime Street (return from Walton Lane), the Soccerbus from Sandhills from two hours before kick-off, and other buses from the city centre and Bootle. Lime Street is two miles from Anfield. Sandhills and Kirkdale are under a 30-minute walk on signposted routes. There is no general paid parking on Stanley Car Park or Utting Avenue on matchdays, except pre-allocated spaces for disabled supporters or people over 65. On non-matchdays and for stadium tours, Stanley Park Car Park (corner of Utting Avenue and Priory Road, L4 0TQ) is limited and first come. It is not available for matchday stadium tours. Do not park on residential streets.

On matchdays only A5 handheld bags and LFC Superstore clear bags with store purchases are allowed. Larger bags are only for medical equipment after emailing at least 48 hours ahead. Weekend bag drop is outside the ground at Christ Church, 157 Hartnup Street. On Wednesdays it is at the Museum and Tours entrance on Paisley Square. Entry is by NFC pass on a smartphone. Download it before the turnstiles.

There are nine accessible entrances. There is no storage for wheelchairs or walking aids inside. Matchday drop-off points are Arkles Lane/Wylva Road, Gilman Street and Oakfield Road. Changing Places toilets are in the Kop and Main Stand. The sensory room in the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand must be booked. Contact 0151 264 2500 or disability@liverpoolfc.com.
