Estádio José Alvalade stadium tour, visit planning

Sourced elements

• The live product page names a guided stadium visit, the Sporting Museum, an inside panoramic view, a VIP area, the pitch area, the locker room and the substitutes' bench. The Sporting Experience app is included.
• Club terms forbid stepping onto the grass. Named rooms can drop out because of works, matches or events.

Booking and arrival

• Book only through Sporting Experience or the club Stadium Tour & Museum link. In June 2026 the club presented that platform as the official booking route for these visits. Same-day purchase on site remains available according to the club news.
• Children under 13 must be with an adult. Club terms allow a full refund for a change more than 24 hours ahead. Inside 24 hours or a no-show is not refunded.

Stadium operations and matchdays

• The live page names Gate 12 as the start, purchase and validation point. The stadium part starts at the booked time. The museum is listed daily from 10:00 to 18:00, except on matchdays and other events.
• On 8 and 9 September 2026 the tours are closed for Sporting CP vs Galatasaray SK. Further dated closures are on the booking page. Times and the route can change or be cancelled without prior notice. The club contact page names Rua Professor Fernando da Fonseca, Apartado 4120, 1501-806 Lisbon. Campo Grande metro (yellow and green) and the Campo Grande bus terminal are nearby.

Accessibility and individual planning

• The live product page warns that from 18 May internal works mean the route uses stairs throughout and is temporarily inaccessible to visitors with reduced mobility. The FAQ still describes ramps, lifts and a wheelchair on request. While the stairs notice is live, treat it as the current operating state.
