MEWA Arena stadium tour, visit planning
Check the official tour route for MEWA Arena and plan your visit with sourced guidance on the experience, arrival and stadium operations.
What to expect
1. FSV Mainz 05 currently sells arena tours at the MEWA ARENA. Public dates run on home matchdays and on other selected days. The matchday tour lasts about 45 minutes, other dates about 90 minutes. It is a stadium visit, not a match ticket. The catalog stadium name remains MEWA Arena.
Sourced elements
- The public information page names the players' tunnel, a VIP box and the press-conference room. Groups from 11 people request individual tours by email.
- Kids birthday parties, the 05ER Erlebnispaket and club-partner youth tours are separate products. Event hire is not a public stadium visit.
Booking and arrival
- The public information page is mainz05.de/arena-touren. Online tickets use the named ticket shop. Matchday tours become visible there about two weeks before the match. MatchVisit does not check remaining places there.
- Do not use that shop as the MatchVisit button, because the request enters a waiting room. No live English tour hub was found. The public information page remains the German club page.
Stadium operations and matchdays
- The address on club pages is MEWA ARENA, Eugen-Salomon-Straße 1, 55128 Mainz. The meeting point is the red pillar labelled Arena-Touren in front of the fanshop, 10 minutes before the start.
- For a visit without a match the club names tram and bus lines 51, 53 and 630, stops Hochschule Mainz, Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena and Kisselberg. The Hauptbahnhof shuttle is described as a matchday service. Direct car access is via the Europaplatz roundabout.
Accessibility and individual planning
- The public tour page does not state a wheelchair rule. Matchday wheelchair seats run through Team Barrierefrei and are not the tour product. That is not a guarantee for every tour stop.
