Red Bull Arena Leipzig stadium tour, visit planning

Check the official tour route for Red Bull Arena Leipzig and plan your visit with sourced guidance on the experience, arrival and stadium operations.

What to expect

RB Leipzig currently sells public stadium tours of the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. There is a 60-minute tour in German, a 90-minute tour in German and a 60-minute tour in English. It is a stadium visit. It is not a match ticket. The Red Bull Arena in Salzburg is a different stadium.

Sourced elements

  • The 60-minute tour names the press-conference room with a film, the catacombs, mixed zone, infield, home dressing room and the highest public point on level 9.
  • The 90-minute tour also names team dressing rooms, the RBL Wall of Fame, the VIP area and Sector B. The English public tour follows the shorter route including VIP areas. Individual stops can close at short notice.
  • The matchday tour, the warm-up tour and the combo of tour plus home match ticket are separate matchday products. They are not the default public stadium visit without a match.

Booking and arrival

  • The public information page is rbleipzig.com/en/stadium/stadium-tours. Public tours are sold in the named RBL online ticket shop and in the club shops. There is no minimum number. Groups are capped at 25 people. Purchased tickets cannot be exchanged according to the product page. Late arrivals cannot join a public group. The ticket then loses its validity.
  • Group, kids and school tours go through a service-centre request, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00. Photos and video are for private use only. Pets are not allowed in the stadium.

Stadium operations and matchdays

  • The meeting point for classic tours is main building north, to the right of the main entrance, Am Sportforum 3, 04105 Leipzig. Product pages say the tour ends at main building south. The hub FAQ names the RBL Store on the stadium forecourt, except on Sundays and public holidays.
  • Named trams are lines 3, 7, 8 and 15 to Sportforum, about 400 metres on foot. The directions page says the Zeppelin Bridge remains closed until November 2026. Jahnallee is closed to cars between Bowmanstraße and Marschnerstraße.

Accessibility and individual planning

  • The hub FAQ describes the standard tours as accessible. It also warns about many stairs and advises against bringing a pram. The stadium-announcer tour is separately described as not suitable for wheelchair users or people with walking restrictions.
