St James Park Stadium Tour, visit planning

Check the official tour route for St. James' Park and plan your visit with sourced guidance on the experience, arrival and stadium operations.

What to expect

Newcastle United sells a guided Classic Stadium Tour of St. James' Park. The visit is not a match ticket. Rooftop and Matchday tours are separate products.

Sourced elements

  • The Classic page names the players' tunnel, home dressing room, Media Suite, pitchside and one of the highest points in the ground. Support adds Level 7, hospitality and the Players and Officials Entrance. Plan about 90 minutes. Individual stops can drop out.

Booking and arrival

  • Use Newcastle United's official stadium tours page. MatchVisit does not make a booking or confirm a date.
  • Check in at Stadium Tours Reception in the Milburn Stand, Level 2, through the glass atrium. Arrive no later than 15 minutes before the booked time. The tour is ticketless. Bring the booking email.

Stadium operations and matchdays

  • The Classic Tour does not run on matchdays, on some public holidays, or when other ticketed events occupy the stadium. A separate Matchday Tour, if offered, has no dressing-room access. Rooftop tours are seasonal, 16+ only, and not on matchdays. Recheck dates on the club page, because times can change.

Accessibility and individual planning

  • The Classic route is described as accessible except pitchside, which can only be confirmed on the day. Tell stadiumtours@nufc.co.uk or 0191 201 8704 about wheelchair or other needs in advance. The Rooftop Tour is not recommended for limited mobility.
