Chelsea Stadium Tour, visit planning

Check the official tour route for Stamford Bridge and plan your visit with sourced guidance on the experience, arrival and stadium operations.

What to expect

Chelsea sells a live-guided Stadium Tour with museum at Stamford Bridge. The visit is not a match ticket.

Sourced elements

  • The product page names dressing rooms, press room, players' tunnel, pitchside and the museum. Museum entry is part of the tour.
  • The guided tour lasts about 60 minutes. With the museum, plan about two hours on site.

Booking and arrival

  • Use Chelsea's official Museum and Stadium Tours page. MatchVisit does not make a booking or confirm a date.
  • Check in at the Tour Ticket Desk in the Tour and Museum entrance, at the rear of the site next to the Matthew Harding Stand. Arrive at least 30 minutes early if you want the full museum time.

Stadium operations and matchdays

  • Tours and museum are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and UEFA matchdays. They are also normally closed on home matchdays and on some days before UEFA matches. Recheck the date on the official page.
  • A separate matchday tour can run on certain Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup dates with an evening kick-off. The last tour then leaves at 1:00 pm, and the museum closes at 12:00 pm. Stamford Bridge is a working building, so individual stops can drop out.

Accessibility and individual planning

  • Email tours@chelseafc.com in advance for an accessible route. There are ramps, seating and a lift on request, but also stairs. Buggies are not intended on the standard route. Some stadium areas may be inaccessible.
