Aston Villa tickets, buying options and advice

Start with Aston Villa's official sale route and the conditions for the specific fixture. MatchVisit has no live inventory and sells no tickets.

Buy directly from the club

Aston Villa offers 2026/27 match-by-match tickets for Villa Park first in a members' window, then a possible general sale. Because of North Stand work, the club expects the member windows to take the tickets. Whether a later window opens is stated only if the club announces it. Member windows start at 09:30. Fixture dates and sales dates are subject to change. Further windows are announced only if needed. Each fixture gets its own windows and dates. Adult or Junior membership is the described route into those windows, one ticket per member per match. The club expects most fixtures to sell out in the members-exclusive window. Anyone who misses out in one window waits for the next club announcement. General sale stays the exception, not the rule. Villa Park is the club's stadium. Hospitality is a separate official route.

Membership, personalisation and transfers

An Adult or Junior membership gives, according to the club, access to the priority windows, not an automatic seat. Membership covers the 2026/27 season. Without Adult or Junior membership there is no access to the priority windows. Extra routes are a First Timer ballot, predefined two-match bundles, and a Loyalty Ballot from 120 waiting-list points. Essential membership may receive forwarded season-ticket seats, not the priority purchases. It only picks up forwarded seats. All home tickets are issued in the Official Aston Villa App. Screenshots are not valid. QR codes appear the day before. NFC via Apple or Google Wallet is offered. At the gate, only the code in the app or wallet counts. The app is the only issuing route. The club does not name paper tickets for 2026/27. Forwarding and resale run in the app. Dates and sale times can change.

Official routes and other offers

Standard home tickets run through the member sale and, if the club opens it, general sale. The ticketing hub groups the club's sales routes for Villa Park. The Ticket Exchange page is the entry to club-side resale. The exchange complements the first sale once season-ticket holders release seats. Forwarding and resale are described in the app and on the ticketing website. Unwanted tickets can be listed for resale in the app or on the website. Anyone who cannot use a season ticket shares, exchanges or resells it through the described routes. Season-ticket holders must attend, share or exchange 14 of 19 home league matches to remain eligible to renew. Hospitality remains separate.

Short-notice tickets and buying without membership

Short-notice tickets depend on the fixture. For 2026/27 the club expects member windows to sell out. App resale can still move seats after the original sale, but that is not visible stock. A general sale happens only if tickets remain after the member windows. Each fixture decides that anew. Anyone still without a ticket checks the current notice for that fixture. The exchange fills only once season-ticket holders and buyers release their seats. Plan the purchase early, because late windows are not guaranteed. Fixture dates and sales dates are subject to change. MatchVisit does not read inventory from these routes. MatchVisit does not promise a ticket.

If a fixture changes

A sale and its terms belong to the relevant seller. If a fixture is moved or cancelled, check that seller's current notice. MatchVisit does not make a booking and cannot promise a rebooking or refund.
