Buy directly from the club

Start with the official BVB ticket shop. For home matches in the Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB-Pokal, BVB says open presales normally start four to six weeks before the fixture, with members usually receiving access one to two days earlier. Whether non-members can buy, and how many tickets each person may take, is published per fixture. According to the club, home tickets are available only through the online ticket shop or official Adrenalin-Trips, not through third-party sellers. Hospitality day tickets and the family block use their own official routes.

Membership, personalisation and transfers

For away matches, sales follow the host club. Registered fan clubs receive some priority there, with allocation handled by fan support. From 2026/27, compatible iPhones can use NFC tickets in Apple Wallet, while other devices keep the QR mobile ticket. Digital day tickets can be forwarded in the shop until two and a half hours before kick-off. ID may be requested at entry. Commercial resale and listings on unauthorised platforms are prohibited under the club terms, even without a mark-up.

Official routes and other offers

According to the club, BVB home tickets are available only through the online ticket shop or official Adrenalin-Trips. Hospitality day tickets use a separate contact route and are not listed on the public secondary market. The family block has its own request route through the KidsClub. The official secondary market opens in the same ticket shop after a home match sells out in the regular presale.

Short-notice tickets and buying without membership

After a sell-out, the official secondary market may open in the same ticket shop. It follows the original sale rules. If the match was members-only, secondary-market purchases are members-only too. Only a holder's own seat bought from BVB can be listed, not VIP, guest or certain standing tickets. BVB says the market closes two and a half hours before kick-off. MatchVisit shows no inventory there and does not promise a leftover ticket. A closed season-ticket waiting list is not an alternative route.

If a fixture changes

A sale and its terms belong to the relevant seller. If a fixture is moved or cancelled, check that seller's current notice. MatchVisit does not make a booking and cannot promise a rebooking or refund.

Selected catalog matches

These are selected catalog events, not a full season.
