Gent tickets, buying options and advice

Start with Gent's official sale route and the conditions for the specific fixture. MatchVisit has no live inventory and sells no tickets.

Buy directly from the club

KAA Gent sells men's first-team home tickets for Planet Group Arena through kaagent.be/nl/tickets/info-abonnementen and at the stadium desks beside the fanshop. The live club name is Planet Group Arena. Ghelamco Arena is a former name, not the live ticket name. Online and desk sale run together. League singles usually go on sale about four to five weeks before the match. Season-ticket holders have priority. Unreserved seats are already open to non-subscribers in that window. 2026/27 season tickets cover all Pro League home matches, with no play-offs, plus priority for other competitions. Conference League league-phase home matches were sold first as a mini-season ticket, with holder priority until 30 September 2026, 11.59 p.m. Singles for those home matches start on 1 October.

Membership, personalisation and transfers

Every buyer needs a Buffalo account. Each ticket must stand in the name of the person entering. Since 1 January 2026 the club requires that named link under Belgian football law. One season ticket per Buffalo account. The same account can still buy named season tickets for friends. Identity checks inside the ground are possible. Entry is an app barcode, plus the physical and digital season card. MatchVisit does not read inventory.

Official routes and other offers

Ordinary home tickets run only through KAA Gent, the club ticket page and the Planet Group Arena desks. That is not Club Brugge, not Anderlecht and not Genk. Official transfer is share-your-season-ticket. It cannot be reversed. The 2017 Free Your Seat resale page is not a current route. Bring a Friend is a once-a-season season-ticket benefit. Tickets outside these club routes are not the official channel.

Short-notice tickets and buying without membership

For short-notice tickets, check the club ticket page or the desk. On weekend home matches, ticketbooth D usually opens two hours before kick-off. On midweek home matches the desk is planned from 11.30 a.m. until kick-off. Risk matches may close the matchday desks. That is not a leftover-ticket promise. MatchVisit does not read inventory from these routes. A listed kick-off can still change.

If a fixture changes

A sale and its terms belong to the relevant seller. If a fixture is moved or cancelled, check that seller's current notice. MatchVisit does not make a booking and cannot promise a rebooking or refund.
