Membership, personalisation and transfers

All match tickets are issued as NFC tickets in the official app. There is no QR code. The ticket is added to Google Wallet or Apple Wallet before the game and tapped at the turnstile. Screenshots are not valid. If the country of residence blocks the app download, there is no other entry route this season unless Supporter Services can help with a cancellation. Tickets are tied to one device. Another device goes through Supporter Services. A Forwarding membership cannot buy or apply for tickets. It can only receive season tickets forwarded by a season-ticket holder. Forwarding runs until kick-off, resale until match day, and donation until the day before.

Official routes and other offers

Standard Premier League home tickets run through membership and, where the club requires it, a ballot. The ticketing FAQ says to buy match tickets only through tickets.manutd.com. Hospitality sits on its own domain. Elevate is the named partner there, and each package includes an official match ticket, according to the page. That is not the member ballot. Cup tickets appear in the app only once the club says when to expect them. Away tickets appear only if the away stadium can support them.

Short-notice tickets and buying without membership

Short-notice movement runs through forwarding, donation or in-app resale, not a public waiting list. A 6 March 2026 notice keeps, for 2026/27, the rule that season-ticket holders use, forward, list for resale or donate the seat value through official channels for at least 16 of 19 Premier League home matches. The same notice says they will not pay more than one nineteenth of the season-ticket price for a home match in any UEFA or domestic cup. In the app, season-ticket holders should list a resale no later than two weeks before the match if the refund is to be complete. MatchVisit does not read inventory and does not state an amount.
