Buy directly from the club

FC Schalke 04 sells men's licensed-team home tickets for VELTINS-Arena in Gelsenkirchen. For 2026/27, day tickets go on sale only after the Bundesliga has fixed each match, in several phases. Member pre-sale runs through the ticket shop, the on-site Service Center and the phone line. Members may buy at most four tickets per match, of which at most two are standing. Across the season the cap is 17 day tickets, on average one per member per match. Bayern and Dortmund share a special cap. Either two tickets for one of those matches, or one each. A general sale happens only if tickets remain after the member sale. For the first two home matches against Bayern and Elversberg the club expressly said there would be no general sale after the member window.

Membership, personalisation and transfers

Tickets arrive digitally by email and in the S04 account, as a wallet pass or print-at-home. The ticket terms dated 28 May 2026 also name the Schalke04 app, a QR code and, where technically possible, NFC. Membership gives access to pre-sale, not an automatic ticket. The member discount applies once per member per match. Anyone who already holds a member-priced season ticket buys further tickets without that discount. Only one member-priced season ticket is provided per member.

Official routes and other offers

Ordinary home tickets run through the S04 ticket shop, the Service Center and the hotline. That is not Freiburg's ticket shop. The official ticket exchange is the authorised resale at face value. Its opening is announced per match. It closes shortly before kick-off. Season-ticket visits are listed one match at a time. Unauthorised platforms such as viagogo or Kleinanzeigen are not allowed. Hospitality stays a separate VIP route. The 2026/27 family block is request-only, not a desk or phone sale. Disabled supporters (GdB 70, membership, registration) buy online or at the Service Center. Matchday programmes require a ticket already.

Short-notice tickets and buying without membership

Short-notice tickets depend on the fixture. When a member sale is not followed by a general sale, the club points to the ticket exchange. Its opening is announced per match. Disabled supporters can ask the Service Center in the week before the match whether tickets have been returned. MatchVisit does not read inventory from it.

If a fixture changes

A sale and its terms belong to the relevant seller. If a fixture is moved or cancelled, check that seller's current notice. MatchVisit does not make a booking and cannot promise a rebooking or refund.
