Sunderland tickets, buying options and advice

Start with Sunderland's official sale route and the conditions for the specific fixture. MatchVisit has no live inventory and sells no tickets.

Buy directly from the club

Outside a season ticket, Sunderland first offers Premier League home tickets through a members' ballot. Black Cats Adult and Academy members may opt in per fixture. Membership is not a ticket guarantee. If tickets remain after the ballot, the club may open a later phase, including a general sale. Whether that happens is stated on that fixture page. The two stages are not the same sale. Hospitality and Premium Experiences are a separate official route.

Membership, personalisation and transfers

The home ballot needs Adult or Academy membership, not Season Ticket Plus. Opt-in is per fixture. Tickets run one per member. A group application needs a membership for each person. Sitting together is not guaranteed. Under-14s need an accompanying adult in the same entry. 2026/27 season tickets are issued digitally. Forwarding to Friends and Family opens seven days before the fixture and cannot be reversed.

Official routes and other offers

Standard Premier League home tickets run through the members' ballot and, if the club opens it, a later extra phase. Ticket Resale is the described official route for unused season-ticket seats, not premium. Buyer access waits until the match has sold out and is about two weeks out, and listing closes three hours before kick-off. Hospitality remains separate. MatchVisit does not read inventory.

Short-notice tickets and buying without membership

Short-notice tickets depend on the fixture. Some home matches still reach general sale after the ballot. Others stay with members. Ticket Resale can open only after a sell-out, typically about two weeks out, and closes three hours before kick-off. MatchVisit does not read inventory from it.

If a fixture changes

A sale and its terms belong to the relevant seller. If a fixture is moved or cancelled, check that seller's current notice. MatchVisit does not make a booking and cannot promise a rebooking or refund.
