Ticket route for this match
The international-break page names four 2026/27 Champions League home matches at the Etihad and, in the order that includes AEK Athens, sets the Greek champions for Tuesday 20 October at 20:00 UK time. The date is therefore 20 October 2026 (2026-10-20). Hospitality for those four home matches is described there as on sale. That page does not describe an ordinary member ticket for AEK Athens. The local-resident page lists AEK Athens on Tuesday 20 October at 20:00 UK time, with a ballot from 10:00 on Friday 11 September until 09:00 on Friday 9 October. The draw covers 100 to 500 seats per match. A free Cityzens account and a confirmed address in Ancoats & Beswick, Ardwick, Clayton & Openshaw, Gorton & Abbey Hey, or Miles Platting & Newton Heath are required. This scheme does not require a matchday membership. The Premier League on-sale page does not list AEK Athens, so its criteria rows do not cover this match.
Match-specific notes
People who succeed in the local-resident ballot for AEK Athens receive the seats automatically, and payment uses the stored method. Addresses confirmed after 23:59 UK time on Tuesday 18 August do not enter the ballots already published. An under-18 needs a separate Cityzens account, linked through Friends & Family. The opened pages state no post-purchase forward, no away section, and no arrival limit for 20 October 2026. The under-14 seating rule appears only on the Premier League on-sale page. Hospitality is a separate path and, on the opened pages, does not replace the local-resident ballot.
