Johan Cruijff ArenA stadium tour, visit planning

Check the official tour route for Johan Cruijff ArenA and plan your visit with sourced guidance on the experience, arrival and stadium operations.

What to expect

The Johan Cruijff ArenA currently sells stadium tours. The standard product is a self-guided classic tour. Guided and VIP tours are separate tickets. This is not a match ticket.

Sourced elements

  • The classic page lists the Ajax dressing room, the visitors' dressing room, mixed zone, players' tunnel, pitch, dugout and Gallery of Fame, without a guide and without audio.
  • The press room is not on that classic card. Dressing rooms can be closed on matchdays, including when Ajax play away.

Booking and arrival

  • Book through the ArenA pages or the linked ArenA ticket shop. The stadium is cash-free. The FAQ says booking ahead secures a place.
  • Children aged 11 and under need an adult 18 or over on the Classic Tour shop.

Stadium operations and matchdays

  • Ajax states a window of seven days a week, 09:30 to 16:30, unless an event blocks tours. Start is Entrance E beside the Ajax fan shop and the ArenA Café.
  • The Matchday Tour is only possible with an Ajax match ticket for the same day.

Accessibility and individual planning

  • The ArenA describes lifts, escalators and ramps. Wheelchair users should email tour@johancruijffarena.nl beforehand. There is no wheelchair loan. Prams are not allowed. Bags larger than A4 are not allowed, and there is no luggage service in the stadium.
