Veltins-Arena stadium tour, visit planning

Sourced elements

• The regular Arena-Tour lasts about 75 minutes. The club names the blue-and-white dressing room, the mine-style player tunnel, hospitality areas, media centre, stadium chapel, arena ring and interior. The tour starts and ends in the Schalke Museum. Individual stops can close around major events.
• The celebrity tour, night tour and matchday tour are separate products. The matchday tour requires a valid home ticket and does not include that ticket.

Booking and arrival

• The public information page is veltins-arena.de/veltins-arena/stadionfuehrungen. Registration is required for individuals, families and groups. Public dates can be booked at most two months ahead. English tours are on request only and are not in the regular booking system. The club names 0209 3618-5890, Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 to 17:00.
• From 5 to 13 October 2026 the museum is closed. The club and ticket hub say there are no arena tours in that window. That is a dated notice, not a MatchVisit calendar.

Stadium operations and matchdays

• The meeting point is the Schalke Museum, stairwell 12, access via entrance WEST 1. The navigation address on the tour FAQ is Adenauerallee 110, 45891 Gelsenkirchen. On non-match days the club describes free parking on car park 1 at main entrance West 1, then the south-curve bridge to the museum. Tram line 302 to stop VELTINS-Arena.
• Dogs are not allowed. Rollators are not part of the regular tour. Children may join. The walk lasts about 75 minutes.

Accessibility and individual planning

• The regular Arena-Tour is not fully barrier-free and is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with a severe walking impairment. Several areas are reached only by stairs. Anyone who needs an accessible option should ask the service team on 0209 3618-5890 first. That is not a guarantee for every stop.
