Football Matches in Madrid

For a match visit in Madrid, check the official routes for Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, Atlético Madrid at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano and Rayo Vallecano separately. The three stadiums sit in different parts of the city and have their own metro and bus notes. For Rayo, the venue of the specific fixture counts, not automatically the club stadium. This overview groups the three destinations by club and transport sources so you connect travel to the venue only after checking the match.

Madrid at a glance

The fixed Madrid travel scope includes only catalog entries whose city is Madrid. Other places are not automatically added as a metropolitan area.

This published data snapshot contains no upcoming matches with fixture-level confirmed stadium assignments.

Selected match pages

These pages are separate from the D1 snapshot. Each page gives the date and ticket route only when a checked match source states them.

Plan a visit in the city

Choose the club first, then check the specific fixture, date and information or purchase route on the official club website. For Rayo Vallecano, also check the venue of the individual fixture. Only then compare the confirmed venue with your accommodation and use the arrival notes for that stadium. For the Bernabéu, that includes the current CRTM notice for Line 10. Do not plan lodging or transport around a different Madrid stadium.

What to distinguish in this travel scope

Getting to the Santiago Bernabéu

The official stadium site gives the address as Avenida Concha Espina 1 in Madrid and names Metro Line 10, Santiago Bernabéu Station. CRTM, in a notice updated in August 2026, says Line 10 service between Cuzco and Nuevos Ministerios is interrupted from 28 March 2026 until the end of 2026 while Santiago Bernabéu station is rebuilt. As a replacement, CRTM names S10, a special EMT bus between Plaza de Castilla, Cuzco, Santiago Bernabéu and Nuevos Ministerios. That is a bus, not a metro service. The stadium site also names Cercanías Renfe at Nuevos Ministerios and EMT lines 14, 27, 40, 43, 120, 126, 147 and 150. Recheck the current CRTM notice before you travel. The club page still lists the station and does not mention the interruption.

Getting to the Riyadh Air Metropolitano

Atlético Madrid recommends the metro. The nearest station is Estadio Metropolitano on Line 7. The stadium site describes a station on the site with a direct exit. The club also names Las Rosas (Line 2) and Canillejas (Line 5), each about a quarter of an hour on foot. The English location page and the stadium site add Las Musas on Line 7. CRTM also lists Estadio Metropolitano on Line 7, with an access on Avenida de Arcentales. On matchdays the club describes a special EMT bus from the Canillejas interchange to Plaza de Grecia in front of the stadium, from two hours before until one and a half hours after the event. The stadium is in north-east Madrid beside the M-40, in the area of the airport and IFEMA. Use these notes only after the official fixture names this venue.

Getting to Vallecas

Rayo Vallecano's official stadium page names Metro station Portazgo on Line 1, plus buses 10, 54, 57, 58 and 136. CRTM also lists Portazgo on Line 1 and names accesses on Avenida de la Albufera, including a lift hall called Payaso Fofó. The club places the stadium in south-east Madrid between Payaso Fofó, Arroyo del Olivar and Avenida de la Albufera. Use these notes only when the official match list names this stadium as the venue. Do not apply the stadium name to every Rayo fixture without checking it.

Check Rayo separately

Rayo Vallecano's club stadium is a separate reference point. For your trip, the venue listed for the individual fixture is what matters. Do not apply the stadium name to every Rayo match without checking it.
